TrueNAS Snapshots and Windows Share protip!

I was blown away today while randomly checking something on my Windows Share with Family photos.

When setting up TrueNAS I've ofcourse configured daily snapshots. To my knowledge, ZFS snapshots can be viewed when mounting in separate mount, then you can get old version or deleted file from there.

There seems to be a muuuuuch more convenient way to view the contents of your snapshots.

When right-clicking on given share, go to prevous version tab, and ta-dah! All versions from all snapshots ready to use!

Ofcourse there is no need to revert to snasphot. Clicking "Open" gives you exact version from this day:
